Why are auto parts stores always out of the good ngk spark plugs?

People buy up the v powers and regulars and theres few g powers left and lots of iridium and platnium left.Why are auto parts stores always out of the good ngk spark plugs?
If you check with NAPA, Advance Auto and Carquest, they'll order what ever you happen to want for next day delivery. You can always go on-line and order from: autopartswarehouse.com, partstrain.com and rockauto.com. NGK G power plugs are one of the non-platinum standard plugs. G power plugs are platinum.
It depends where you live and what you are putting the plugs into. There are more efficient plugs out there, in general.NGK are good, so are Denso and many Bosch. It depends upon your application!! Iridium and platinum's, in general, are better because they chemically react with modern fuels creating more power and better MPG's. NGK V power is a widely bought plug. Most auto part stores only stocks a few of each plug #..



Most auto part stores are now set up to "order" parts at your need and can get them to the store with your name on it so they are held for you, the very next morning.



I can't tell you how many times I had to do that at advance auto and auto zone on head gaskets, plugs, floats, etc fo my hot rod
the v gap ones are gone cause of people like me, sorry. they are good plugs and many people know it so you probably just have bad timing as far as when you go. call them up first so you don't waste a trip. just be glad your not looking for 9mm parabellum fmj ammo, theres none o that these days. oh by the way check out the denso "U" type plugs, those rock too.Why are auto parts stores always out of the good ngk spark plugs?

They see you pull into the parking lot and rush to hide the one's you need.



Your preferred model is not a high volume one so they don't stock it in depth.

Well first of all they are cheap. Second of all they are usually on sale. I would go ahead and buy Denso Iridium Spark Plugs if I were you because they are great spark plugs and they last over 100,000 miles and even way more!
