Is there an auto parts store that sells a cone filter to fit into the 12V Cummins rubber intake hose?

I want one that will fit in the end of the hose connected to the air box so i can tighten the hose down on it instead of buying an expensive setup. If anyone knows one I would appreciate the help. I think I found one at autozone that looks big enough but i think i would take in the hose just to make sure of the sizeIs there an auto parts store that sells a cone filter to fit into the 12V Cummins rubber intake hose?
like the above answer told you ,don't change the original air intake on that truck they had a good design to them and actually work pretty good for allowing air in to the engine,if you change it you,ll just be putting it back on,id try and limit what i did on that truck and it will last a lot longer than it will if you add a lot of useless parts to it,the 12 valve was a good engine,it won't help it to run any better because the amount of fuel it gets is regulated by the injectors,so giving it more air may hurt the mileage rather than help it ,good luckIs there an auto parts store that sells a cone filter to fit into the 12V Cummins rubber intake hose?
thanks man, stock will get you the most miles per gallon if its in good running condition you,ll do alright on fuel in it,good luck

just leave the factory filter and air box ALONE. a fram tough tough guard or extra guard air filter will do just fine. putting a cone filter in the intake hose is going to do more harm than good.

1. it's going to be a bitc* to get out

2. it's going to RESTRICT AIR FLOW!

3. it's going to screw up your filter minder as well. FYI Filter Minder=stupid plastic thing that sits on top of the air box and tells you when your air filter's bad with the button on top that says reset.

so that's what your looking at. a waste of time money and effort and you'll see nothing in return, other than the headache of having to take it back out because it's done absolutely nothing for you.
