Call around and find out. Ask for a new and a rebuild motor price. Since it is a 91 it will be hard to find a new motor. If you are really hurting for money you can look in the paper or Craigslist and find a vehicle in the same year range and pull the motor out of a running vehicle that someone is parting out. The problem with that is that you are taking a chance on how long the motor will last. Sometimes you get lucky and find a good motor that way.
